Ferry Service to New London

Ferries have always been a part of New London's maritime history - and present. Ferries out of New London travel to New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Terminals are in downtown New London and are easy to reach by car or foot. Located in the heart of New London's transportation center next to the railroad and bus stations and not-to-far from the municiapl parking garage.

The first ferry leaves New London daily at 8:30 A.M. for the 1 hour trip to Old Harbor on Block Island. Parking for the ferry is located in the Water Street municipal garage directly across the street from the ferry. Entrance is on Atlantic Street and Water Street.

Viking Passenger Ferry, docks at Montauk Harbor NY. New London CT passenger drop off and pickup location is at the Cross Sound Ferry dock. Web Site: VIKINGFLEET.COM. DIRECTIONS

The Viking Fleet provides passenger ferry from Montauk to New London in the Summer season. (Signs posted saying New York Ferry/ Cross Sound Ferry Dock.) Purchase tickets on the boat. Park in the public parking lot across the street from the Union Railroad Station.
