Our 2012 Annual Appeal is here! This year, we are attempting to raise $20,000 to help us continue and enhance upon the work we do for our beautiful city. With your help, we can hit our goal!

We're proud of our successes during a year which provided us with challenges: the City and corporate sponsors have had to whittle their budgets, including funding for some downtown projects. But change also brings a chance for new focus and a fresh perspective. There is a renewed optimism as we move forward as an organization. And we can't forge ahead without the hard work and contributions of many.

Our seasonal Rink @ Parade Plaza has hosted real live penguins from Mystic Aquarium, introduced the new Try-it Hockey program and skating lessons for all ages and is introducing new programs for the start of 2013, including a food drive in conjunction with Citizens Bank and the Gemma E. Moran United Way Food Center. The District has also welcomed several new must-try shops and restaurants. Furthermore, New London Main Street has a renewed sense of collaboration with the City, downtown businesses, organizations and residents. When you list all of these great things, you can see why we're so enthusiastic about New London!
