Connecticut Lyric Opera

As Southeastern Connecticut's only full-season professional opera company, Connecticut Lyric Opera (CLO), is in its sixth season. Each season CLO produces two fully staged opera productions. The first is an adapted opera by Young Artists for student audiences for its OPERAtunities program. The OPERAtunities program helps to introduce local students to opera and classical music through their attendance and participation in performances of opera. The CLO also produces a number of other concerts and recitals throughout the year. In New London, they perform at the Garde Arts Center or Evans Hall at Connecticut College.
