July 23-27 • Performances on July 28 at 11am and 2pm

Have an aspiring thespian in the family? Then sign them up for Summer on Stage, a children's theatre program hosted by the The Garde Arts Center and presented by the Missoula Children's Theatre. Your child will take classes (July 23-27) in acting, movement, stagecraft, makeup, and participate as actors, singers, dancers, stagehands, assistant directors and pianists in two performances of Hansel & Gretel, an original large-cast musical on the Garde stage.

About Hansel & Gretel:
The Missoula Children’s Theatre proudly presents an original musical adaptation of the Brothers’ Grimm age-old tale of a journey, a secret and a grand adventure. Poor Hank and Gretchen! All of their friends, off to summer camp, have left them behind. And their Mom, struggling alone to make ends meet, seems to have time for nothing but work. While waiting for dinner, prepared by eccentric but lovable Uncle Wally, Hank and Gretchen fall asleep and dream their way to times gone by. They wake with a start! Their clothes are so strange – and so are their names.
