Interviews and FestivitiesBlog #4 by Brittany Bousquet

Its hard to believe that Ive been at New London Main Street for about six weeks, and its equally hard to believe that my internship is about halfway over. In the six weeks that Ive been at Main Street, Ive gotten to do a lot of cool things, meet a lot of great people and explore the wonderful downtown New London. I cant wait to see what the rest of my internship brings.
Beyond being stunned by how fast my internship is flying by, life at Main Street has been keeping me busy. Joanne asked me to be the featured intern for June/Julys issue of Volunteer Vibes, so for a change I was the one being interviewed instead of the one giving the interview. Then I had the privilege of interviewing Gloria Sinopoli, a volunteer who will be featured in the same e-Newsletter. I also had the opportunity to sit down with Kelly Hulse, owner of Y-Knot Café and New Londons newest eatery, Kellys on the Bank. Look for all of these articles in the upcoming issue of Volunteer Vibes.
I uploaded this weeks Dessert feature article on Muffins to the website check it out!
New articles are in the works youll learn more about these next week.
And finally, don't forget that both OpSail and Sailfest are this wekeend in New London. These are just two more wonderful reasons to come visit New London's Historic Waterfront District.
