Previews on Parade
New London Main Street is thrilled to launch its new Friday lunchtime series Previews on Parade. This free event will be held every Friday from 12-1pm, June 11-September 24 at the Parade Plaza across from the New London train station. The public is invited to get a sneak peek at upcoming arts and culture events while enjoying a boxed lunch delivered by one of several participating downtown restaurants. The series is designed to introduce those working and living downtown to the extensive music, dance, and theatre scene that is taking place in New London. No two weeks will be the same. Audiences will be treated to preview performances by Flock Theatre, David Dorfman Dance, Garde Arts Center, Hygienic Art and the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra, to name just a few upcoming selections. If you like what you see, there will be a booth with information and tickets to buy for the full-length event.
Boxed lunches can be ordered over the phone by 11 am and picked up at the hospitality table on the Parade Plaza at noon. Meet friends, enjoy the sunshine, and experience what these arts and cultural groups have to offer!
