Spirit Gallery – New London’s tattoo studio and art gallery hybrid – presents "Forgotten Beauty: The Art of New London's Cemeteries" – a series of photographs by local photographer Michael S. Dodd featuring a glimpse into the often overlooked beauty of headstones and artifacts found at Saint Mary’s and Cedar Grove cemeteries. The collection will hang in Spirit’s mini-gallery.

A native of Arizona, Michael S. Dodd resided in California for a number of years before moving to New England in 2002. A career florist, Dodd began studying photography in 2008. His two points of emphasis are cemeteries and architecture. This is his first photo exhibition.

Viewing hours are 11:30 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday –Wednesday, and 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m., Thursday - Saturday at Spirit Gallery, 207 Bank St., New London.
