Everyone is welcome to attend the Faculty Concert of the Sacred Dance Guild Festival 2010 at Cummings Art Center on the campus of Connecticut College in New London. Performing in a wide range of genres are the Festival's workshop leaders and technique teachers, including Wesley Yarbor, a former dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. A reception follows the concert. Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance, and $20 at the door.

The concert is a highlight of Simply Soaring: A Sacred Dance Festival. The festival features workshops, classes, and performances by the leading names in sacred dance and mind/body modalities. Dance classes in a wide range of genres are open to dancers of all levels. Workshops include exploring transcendent dance, vocalizing with movement, choreography, and much more. Enjoy movement rituals, circle dancing, body meditations and more. Dancers of all ages, spiritualities, cultures, dance genres and abilities are welcome.

The festival runs from Monday, July 26 to Saturday, July 31. Full Festival tuition or day rates available. Accommodations available.
