Philip LaVarge's Bank Street Lights Chosen for 2003
Mr. LaVarge was born in 1945 in nearby Norwich, CT. His training includes a BFA in 1967, Cooper Union, NY; in 1976-77, Printmaking Workshop, Studio of Bob Cale, Stonington, CT; and, in 1982-92, Lifedrawing Workshops/Seminars, The Art League of Houston, Houston, TX. Philip LaVarge's silverpoint drawing technique was featured at a demonstration and talk on this technique at the Golden Street Gallery in New London. He has exhibited extensively in Connecticut as well as in San Francisco and San Diego, California; Rochester, New York; and Houston and San Marcos, Texas.

Posters are $15 for members or $20 for non-members. Posters are also avilable signed by the artist for an additional $10 or framed for an additional $20. To have your unframed poster mailed, please send a check, including $3 for shipping and handling, to the Main Street office; framed posters must be picked up at the Main Street office.
