Tracy Bergenn, Interim Promotion Coordinator
July 21, 2008: Tracy Bergenn of Waterford has been hired as interim Promotion Coordinator for New London Main Street, replacing Kim Bartlett who has taken another position.
"I feel incredibly passionate about downtown New London and am excited to be a part of this organization that works so hard to revitalize the city", Bergenn says.
As a freelance event planner, Bergenn was the event chair for Main Street's Spring and Fall Food Strolls in 2007, and Valentine's Day fundraisers in 2007 and 2008.
She holds a degree in Corporate Communications, and has a background in Human Resources and Training with Staples, Inc. Bergenn has also managed a restaurant and acted as a producer/director for a Connecticut non-profit theater company.
Bergenn will be responsible for Main Street's promotional publications, including The District Map & Guide and the quarterly event card, as well as three annual festivals and other events produced by Main Street, including the popular spring and fall Food Strolls.
