Joanne Gibson, Volunteer Coordinator
Joanne Gibson joined New London Main Street in the spring of 2005. Her main task is recruitment and retention of volunteers.
She lives in East Lyme with her three children, aged 9, 15 and 16, and her husband, Don, who works at Pfizer. She has a degree in psychology and education and many years of experience as an executive in the fields of healthcare and finance.
Joanne edits the newsletter and the annual report. She also works with the committee handling the redesign and maintenance of New London Main Street web site. One task of the site's design was to enhance the site to serve as a vehicle for volunteer recruiting.
