Organization Committee Chair's Report, Spring 2007
The Organization Committee is busy planning New London Main Street's 10th Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony to be held this year in conjunction with the Grand Opening of the Union Plaza Courtyard Café. Look for the friendly faces of the Organization Committee members at the registration, membership and refreshment tables. We look forward to the return of some of our dedicated snowbird volunteers who have been away for the winter season. Welcome back!
This is the time of year where we gear up for our annual membership drive. In connection with these membership efforts, the Organization Committee is creating a subcommittee specifically devoted to increasing membership for the next fiscal year, beginning July 1. Anyone with an interest in helping us can contact Kerin Woods or Joanne Gibson.
Additionally, the New London Main Street website is now offering banner advertising, which will be made available at a reasonable price for a one year subscription. Thanks to Frank McLaughlin, Josh Foley, Rob Szarka and Joyce Thomas of Bizgrok for their efforts in getting the banner advertisement initiative launched.
The Organization Committee is always looking for new members. Please plan to attend our next meeting if you would like to learn more. The Organization Committee meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:00 PM at the Main Street office. We hope to see you there!
