The Thames River Heritage Park Water Taxi

Launching in mid-July in 2016, more than 1,500 people hopped on board The Thames River Heritage Park Water Taxi to enjoy the historic and national sites along both sides of the Thames River, dine, shop, and enjoy cultural events. This year the Water Taxi will launch Friday, May 26th just in time for Memorial Day weekend and will run through mid-September. It will once again operate Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with service from 10 a.m. -9 p.m. with stops at Fort Trumbull and City Pier in New London and Fort Griswold in Groton. The Water Taxi is a fabulous and affordable way to get out on the water and enjoy all there is to see and do along the Thames River. It’s also available for private charters and tours.
