Suisman Shapiro Attorneys Support the City's Exciting 2015 Events & Ongoing Revitalization

New London, CT: Suisman Shapiro Attorneys-At-Law will again be a major sponsor in support of New London Main Street's events and programs designed to bring tourists downtown. In 2015, New London will welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors as the epicenter of the State of Connecticut's "Coast Guard Summer" campaign; a celebration of the U.S. Coast Guard's 225th birthday, the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the highly anticipated National Coast Guard Museum all to which New London is the home.

New London was the third busiest whaling port in the entire world for several decades beginning in the early 19th century. The wealth that whaling brought into the city funded much of the city's present architecture. New London Main Street is dedicated to revitalizing New London's Historic Waterfront District, and to building community through activities and programs that enrich the cultural fabric, preserve and enhance historic streetscapes, and support and expand the economic base of the city center.
