Spring Food Stroll 2006

Registration is now open for the 2008 Spring Food Stroll!

Wednesday, May 17, 2006, 5:30-9:00 PM New London Main Street's popular New London Historic Waterfront District Spring Food Stroll returns!

Eat and shop your way around the world in only 26 blocks. More than 30 restaurants will offer the cuisines of many lands: from India, Latin America, the Middle East, Mexico, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Enjoy the energy of Irish jigs, the sensuous sounds of salsa fusion, and the beauty of Chinese traditional dance. A bazaar of exotic offerings can be found in the district's boutiques and galleries, where local retailers will extend their hours the night of the Stroll and offer special promotions..

Admission buttons are $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the Stroll. Admission includes a free drink coupon, samples of the signature dishes in all participating eateries, and merchant specials. (Students and children, $15, without a drink coupon.)

Online sales have ended, but admission buttons may be purchased for $30 on the day of the event at the New London Main Street office. Buttons purchased in advance may be picked up at the hospitality table in front of the Main Street office at the corner of Eugene O'Neill Drive and State Stree t the night of the Stroll.

Parking is available for $3 per vehicle at the Water Street Garage. Strollers must show the parking attendant their buttons on the way out of the garage. Parking is also available at the Winthrop Street Garage for $5 per vehicle. Payment is expected at the time you arrive at the garage. Just tell the parking attendant you are with the Spring Food Stroll.
