Traditions 2007
Saturday, June 30, 2007, 12-10 PM New London Music Fest is proud to announce the first annual Traditions festival to be held at the Hygienic Art Park in downtown New London on Saturday, June 30th from Noon to 10 PM. The day-long event will celebrate folk, americana, and sea music, and features the talents of icons of the genre including Marc Bernier, Robbie O'Connell, Ida Red, Serre l'Ecoute, Geoff Kaufman, and more.
Traditions organizers Daphne Glover, Craig Edwards, and Rich Martin are excited to bring the event to the newly-opened Hygienic Art Park in the heart of the city. The gorgeous outdoor amphitheater will be a striking setting to experience the layered harmonies and vocal prowess of these master musicians.
Tickets for Traditions will be $12 for a full-day pass. There will be a traditional pub sing to be held at Hanafin's Pub and open to all attendees immediately following the concert.
The event is sponsored with gracious support from the Frank Loomis Palmer Fund, Hygienic Art, The Day, and New London Main Street.
