NLMS Annual Meeting 2008 & Tenth Anniversary Celebration
Thursday, May 29, 2008, 5:30-7:00 PM, New London Main Street has ten big reasons to celebrate at their Annual Meeting this May 29th. In addition to honoring the hundreds of volunteers, members, and funders that make the organization a success, Main Street will celebrate its Tenth Anniversary of revitalizing The District. Update: Festivities will take place at the Garde Arts Center, who graciously allowed us to host the festivities at their beautifully restored movie palace!
The Tenth Anniversary Celebration will be ten times more exciting than annual meetings of the past, with special offers and presentations. The first 100 attendees will receive the new District shopping bag filled with a variety of goodies ranging from special offers for downtown shopping, CT Defenders tickets, and the redesigned Map & Guide. Free copies of the 2008 poster designed by Smizer Perry will also be up for grabs. A slew of supporters will be honored at the meeting, including the top ten volunteers of 2007-2008, new and departing board members, and corporate partners.
The 2007 banners sponsored by local businesses can also be picked up during the celebration. A free wine and hors d'ourve reception will follow, with a cash bar.
