NLMS Annual Meeting 2007
Thursday, May 31, 2007, 5:30-7:00 PM, New London Main Street's Tenth Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony at the new Courtyard Café, 11⁄2 Union Plaza, New London
In the spring of 1997 a group of concerned New London residents, city officials and business leaders came together to form New London Main Street. Ten years later we have all witnessed the significant transformation of New London's downtown Historic Waterfront District into the vibrant, livable, evolving city and destination we love.
At the Annual Meeting, Main Street members will have the opportunity to elect new board members and to review the annual budget. We will also recognize volunteers who have made outstanding contributions during the past year. In addition, Main Street's Promotion Committee will unveil the most recent addition to its annual series of posters, and introduce the artist, Carey Williams, who will be on hand to sign posters.
Join us as we celebrate all that has been accomplished in New London's downtown Historic Waterfront District in the last 10 years. If you have not joined or renewed your membership, take advantage of a $5 membership discount available only at the Annual Meeting. The public is welcome.
